At Indus Jets Pvt Ltd ("Indus Jets"), we value your privacy and are committed to maintaining your trust and confidence. This Privacy Policy is developed to enable you to understand how and what information is collected from you and how we use it, and how we keep it secure. Without any ambiguity, we are not in the business of selling, renting or trading personal information with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.
This Policy applies to you if you are a Customer, an Operator or a "non-member" using the IndusJets App or website (together referred as the "IndusJets Platform") made available at the Apple App store ("App") and www.indusjets.com ("Website"). Customers, Operators and all other visitors will be referred to in this policy as "you" or "non-member" (collectively known as "visitor"). This Policy applies to all forms of computing devices — computers, smart phones, tablets, or any other devices that can access our IndusJets Platform.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and review it periodically for the latest information about our privacy practices. By using our App or any website which includes this Privacy Policy, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and consent to the use of your information by IndusJets as set forth herein. If you do not agree with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, please do not provide us with your personal information or interact with the Website or download our App.
"Personal Information" includes name, address, email address, phone number, password (hashed, never stored in plain text), Government ID & number (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport) and the uploaded document image/PDF. Your travel preferences — travel type, meal preference, referral code (Flier) and booking data — routes, dates, pricing, payment amounts (no card/payment data is currently accepted in the IndusJets platform).
Biometric data (Face ID) is used only for local device sign-in; the biometric data itself never leaves the device or reaches our servers. Your personal Information does not include information that has been anonymized so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual. If you enable Face ID, authentication happens entirely on your device via Apple's Face ID — we never receive or store any biometric data ourselves.
Customers: While searching and reviewing travel options provided by Operators on our platform along the Customers are required to create an Indus Jets "Travel Account" or "Travel Concierge Account". During the account setup process, we will collect Personal Information such as your name, nationality, mailing address, telephone, email address and other Personal Information which you may be required to provide. We may also collect information when you engage with Operators on the IndusJets Platform. We may also collect Personal Information that you post on social networking portals as well any comments/discussions you may provide in your feedback on the IndusJets Platform.
Operators: An Operator is required to register for an IndusJets "Operator Account", prior to doing so, during the Account setup process, we will collect your Personal Information including your business name, contact number, address, fleet details, blackout dates, a brief summary of your services, email address. In addition, you may be required to provide other content or additional information about your fleet, including photographs and videos. Fleet information and aircraft details will be partially or completely accessible to all visitors using the IndusJets Platform either directly or by submitting a request for a "fly-share" or "full-charter". We may also collect information when you engage with Customers on the IndusJets Platform.
During access of the IndusJets platform via social media e.g Instagram, Facebook etc you will be required to enter your login details, at which stage you will be required to grant us permission to access and collect your basic personal information such as name, profile picture, gender, networks, user IDs, list of friends and any other information you have set to public on your account. In the event such information is not public and you permit us to access this information, we shall have access to the same. This information will be stored along with your other details.
We do not have any control over the privacy policies of third party sites and have no say in how such sites may use or disclose your information. Hence, we urge you to consult the privacy policies of such third party sites.
We and our technology partners log web browser information and other usage information from the IndusJets App and/or IndusJets Website such as view tallies, time spent, geo-location details, browsing data, etc. If the visitor is using a mobile or other portable device to visit or access IndusJets Platform, we may collect hardware details of the device used by the visitor. We use this information (including the information collected by our technology partners) for analytics, to determine relevant advertising, to evaluate our advertising campaigns, and as otherwise described in this policy. You can accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the IndusJets platform.
The Personal Information and the aggregated information collected by using the IndusJets Platform enables us to better understand your needs and provide a better experience. We may use your information in any of the following methods:
From time to time, IndusJets may use personal information for new and unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our Policy. If our information practices change regarding information previously collected, we shall make reasonable efforts to provide notice and obtain consent of any such uses as may be required by law.
IndusJets Pvt Ltd implements advanced technological security measures, which are reasonably designed to help protect your Personal Information from loss, unauthorized access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. We may use encryption, firewalls, passwords, and physical security measures to help protect your Personal Information.
However, it is important to note that no security measure is 100% secure and we do not promise and cannot guarantee the same. Even though we shall take reasonable and best possible steps to protect your Personal Information, you should not expect that your Personal Information or private communications cannot be collected and used by others. We also urge you to take steps and ensure that nobody has unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private.
We may share the information that we collect about you, including your Personal Information, in some situations as follows:
For our Operator users — data in relation to your aircraft and other Personal Information (other than payment information) shall be available to other users of the IndusJets Platform.
For our Travelers and Agents — data in relation to your request will be shared with the Operators — passenger's name, phone number, email, and travel/meal preference so they can prepare for your trip. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use your information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account deactivates it immediately and cancels any pending booking requests. Bookings that are already confirmed at the time of deletion are not affected or removed, since they reflect a real, completed arrangement with an operator; the account remains deactivated and cannot be used to sign in again.
This policy is current as of the effective date set forth above. At IndusJets we will constantly endeavour to add further features and update the policy from time to time. As such, we encourage all users to review this policy for any further updates.
